Meet The Edit: a new shopping experience at Roosevelt Field

Appear Here has partnered with Simon Property Group to create a new shopping experience inside one of the country’s largest and most iconic malls – Roosevelt Field. The Edit is a curated selection of independent brands that’s constantly evolving. Inside the mall, 12 spaces have been dedicated to new brands with each space featuring a modular design and tech-enabled walls for brands to use.

Every day thousands of shoppers visit Roosevelt Field, just 45 minutes from Manhattan in one of New York’s most affluent areas on Long Island. The shopping center draws over 22MM visitors a year and $1.5B in sales, making it a valuable audience for many retailers. But spaces are hard to come by and are often too expensive for emerging brands. The Edit makes it possible for young designers, independent fashion labels and entrepreneurs to launch their ideas here.

For the launch of The Edit, the first theme is all around gifting and includes like Raden, Rhone, Lively, goldno.8, Jars by Dani, Winky Lux, Beltology, Vitaly, Yosi Samra, Skinny Dip London, Thursday Boots, KOIO and Cuzin’s Duzin to offer unique products during the holiday months.

Founder and CEO of Raden, Josh Udashkin explains, “Raden strongly believes in the power of the mall. There is a lot of foot traffic in malls with different customers to reach. We are a brand that wants to reach new customers where they are already predisposed to shopping. Simon has malls with lots of traffic. We believe the mall is an under-penetrated market for new brands that should be taking advantage of it.”

The first round of the Edit@Roosevelt Field will come to a close on February 28th, but we will continue rotating new themes in the space every season.
