Every New Yorker knows that Bushwick is the city's go-to place for the latest in fashion, food, and entertainment. From Roberta's pizza to burlesque shows at The House of Yes, Bushwick’s creative energy is easy to see. Right in the heart of it is Irving Avenue, an up-and- coming street that mixes old-school Brooklyn walk-ups with brand-new luxury buildings. A former church, this retail shop to let is surprisingly spacious.
Bushwick is beloved by hipsters and scenesters who have taken over the neighborhood over the last decade. During the workweek, the day gets a little quiet, but the evenings and weekends are busy with the younger crowd wining and dining in places like Lucy's Kitchen for vietnamese food and the tiki-inspired Dromedary bar, or doing a weekly shop in one of the many bodegas along this stretch.
Residential buildings are right next door and across the street is a Rico Deli grocery.
Since the block is mostly residential, make sure to draw a little extra attention to yourself in order to draw people in.
