Behind the inconspicuous storefronts of the East Village, you'll often come across the best food finds and bars in the city. The space sits on a residential block but there are plenty of hip restaurants a few doors down including risotto specialists, Risotteria Melotti NYC, and Three of Cups Italian restaurant, a good spot for live music in the evenings and on Saturdays. On the corner of the next block, there's the homely Italian restaurant, Frank, and eco-conscious burger joint, Bareburger.
