A Little About This Space

Holborn's old office buildings have received a bit of a face-lift in recent years, including the opening of an outpost of the Hoxton Hotel. Located on the stretch of High Holborn between Holborn Underground and New Oxford Street, this impeccably decorated ground floor plus basement event space to rent has a bar and a projector. It has previously hosted product launches, panels, talks and conferences (seats 120 and stands 180 people).

THE CROWD

Weekdays, especially rush hours and lunchtimes, are busiest due to the number of offices. However, Holborn is so close to the British Museum, Covent Garden and the West End that you’ll see plenty of shoppers, theatre-goers and map-wielding tourists making their way around at weekends, too. The lovely Princess Louise, the Holborn Grind, and a couple of decent craft beer pubs that have popped up in recent years mean that people are starting to have their post-work drinks in the area rather than heading off to Soho. Holborn tube station is a couple of minutes away.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

Next door is the well-known My Old Dutch pancake house, which often has a queue snaking out of its doors. Opposite, are the coffee and cocktail hangouts, Holborn Grind, The Hoxton, and The Connection office development.
