Tucked beneath the Williamsburg Bridge on busy South 5th Street is 4,500-square feet of space that is ready for almost anything. Thanks to a drive-in front door, retractable wall and 25-feet high ceilings that can be rigged with professional lighting, this massive ground-floor space is as versatile as it is sleek and modern.
Bright white walls and polished-concrete floors create an industrial but inviting canvas. Predominantly used as a studio with a CYC wall, this space is flexible and has hosted events from fashion shows to a VICE Magazine exhibition. A mezzanine level in the back is ideal for relaxing on the red leather Chesterfield sofas or getting the perfect shot from a high angle.
A fifteen-minute walk from the subway and a 10-minute walk from the popular East River Ferry, this studio is easy to get to. And cars, trucks, and cabs can just pull off the bridge to get here.
STUDIO:
The day rate is based on a 10-hour day from 8am to 6pm. Any time before 8am or after 6pm is overtime.
All rates increase by 20% on weekends and holidays.
CANCELLATION:
All cancellations must be received in writing.
If written cancellation is received at least 4 BUSINESS DAYS FROM SHOOT DATE, the client is responsible for 50% of the daily rate for each day booked.
If written cancellation is received LESS THAN 4 BUSINESS DAYS FROM SHOOT DATE, the client is responsible for 100% of the daily rate for each day booked.
INSURANCE:
A valid certificate of insurance is required for every photo/video shoot, listing INDUSTRIA as an additional insured and loss payee.
A sample COI will be provided with our requirements highlighted. Submitted COI must match this sample.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL POLICY:
ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE RENTED THROUGH INDUSTRIA. NO THIRD-PARTY EQUIPMENT ALLOWED IN STUDIO UNLESS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY STUDIO MANAGER AND/OR PHOTO BOOKER.
This space is a working studio, any works you can do will be minimal and ned to be agreed in advance with the landlord.
