Nomad is best known for three things: boutique hotels, world-class food, and the eponymous park the neighborhood derives its name from. A one minute walk from Madison Square Park, on the ground floor of the MAve hotel, this former organic restaurant is available for you to rent. This space for rent features floor-to-ceiling windows, with a kitchen area in the back.
NoMad and the surrounding Flatiron District is known as the birthplace of New York’s tech industry, Silicon Alley. During the week, you’ll find professionals on their lunch break going out to eat at places like the famed Eataly, or grabbing a taco at Tacombi. For a quick bite, the original Shake Shack in Madison Square Park is a long-standing favorite. Tourists staying in the area at hotels such as the Ace Hotel and the MAve are attracted to the park and the host of activities and events that take place there, as well as its close proximity to the Empire State Building. The 28th St 6 and R/W stations are both about a block away.
Next door is Shorty’s, a restaurant specializing in cheesesteaks. On the other side is Birch Coffee, a local coffeehouse chain. Around the corner is the Museum of Sex, a popular tourist attraction.
There’s no restrooms in the space and foot traffic varies depending on the season.
