Over the last 20 years Williamsburg, Brooklyn has become synonymous with good music. And it’s not hard to see why with an artistically minded community and lots of venues like Williamsburg Music Hall (not to mention great post-show bars like Radegast Beer Hall).
This building was built long before the gentrification of the neighborhood and has seen a lot of change itself. Most recently it was known to locals as one of those great music venue/gallery/restaurants - a set up called Cameo. The space itself is long with high ceilings. The floors are a mix of light hardwood and painted concrete. There isn’t a lot of natural light, but there are overhead fluorescents for a basic solution.
As popular as Williamsburg has become, this area seems to be a favorite of business people who can take the East River Ferry directly to Midtown. There’s also bus routes nearby, the L train five minutes away, and, since it’s Brooklyn, lots of bike paths.
The space could do with some sprucing up, but it's in good condition.
