A Colorful Palette of Food and Art

Chelsea is an accessible blend of many shades of New York. There is something for everyone here. Hundreds of galleries make it the epicenter of the New York art scene and an inspiring place for an afternoon stroll. Chelsea Piers, on the Hudson River, is a playground for both ultra-runners and rosé-drinkers. And in the gigantic Chelsea Market, you’ll find a round-the-clock smorgasbord, with cuisine from all over the world at your fingertips.

The High Line, an elevated railroad converted to a lush greenway, used to carry freight trains up and down the west side of Manhattan. Today, it leads pedestrians downtown to the Meatpacking District, where old factory buildings and warehouses have been transformed into a destination for upscale shopping and nightlife. After dark, swanky hotels and clubs host parties for the VIPs among us. Want to join? Just make sure you’re on the list.

Word on the street

I like walking along the Highline to see the view, and how close the area is to the pier. It's a good escape from the city.

Chelsea market offers a lot of unique things. You can play golf on the pier and discover dozens of shops and restaurants.
