Apart from the Pier and its pebbled beach, shopping is one of Brighton’s greatest attractions. The Lanes are a series of narrow, cobbled walkways full of antique, vintage and independent fashion stores. And their popularity has led to an overflow: as boutique spaces like this one, just north of The Lanes, become available to rent.
The area attracts an eclectic mix. Locals shop here throughout the week, and at the weekend tourists arrive from London and beyond to check out this seaside town’s greatest wares. There’s also a big student population and LGBT community who live, work and play across the neighbourhood. Expect to be busiest on Saturdays when the daytrippers descend.
To one side of the shop there’s a massage therapist and to the other there’s a menswear store. You’ll also be near an antique shop, a Franco Manca restaurant and less than a 5-minute walk to The Lanes.
The store has been decorated by the previous tenant and the landlord would be very happy for incoming brands to change this.
