Think of Bed-Stuy as Bushwick’s irreverent little brother: a place to set-up-shop with a little more bite, in a neighborhood that holds-fast to its diverse heritage – just look at the reggae-themed eatery and cocktail emporium, Lovers Rock. Tompkins Avenue, in matters of taste both sartorial and stomach-related, is indisputably one of the most up-and-coming streets in this area. This pop up retail space for rent suits those with a penchant for white and plenty of light.
Families flock to the nearby dog-friendly Herbert Von King Park in the afternoon, while the young-and-man-bunned come later in the evening to spots like Bed-Vyne Brew - where the DJ sets and craft hefeweizens flow freely - or during weekend afternoons to scour the vintage shops and boutiques like Sincerely Tommy. The presence of the cigar shop, Habana Ninos, and Stacked Yoga, also attracts a particularly discerning crowd.
Nagel’s Bagels is opposite, as well as The Meat Market for vintage clothing. Perched on the corner (and impossible to miss with its shouting yellow façade) is Guzman Grocery, and around the bend is Brooklyn Kettle, brewing “strong coffee for strong women.”
This space is at least a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway stop, but there are many trains from Manhattan.
This space is also available for shop share opportunities.
